Job description
* Establishing and maintaining an IBM relationship with several key Business Partners operating in Surabaya.
# He/She has expert marketing, business, technical and professional skills and has ultimate responsibility for the success of the relationship. This involves identifying and qualifying IBM opportunities, engaging the appropriate IBM resources to support go-to-market strategy and execution with the Business Partners , gaining Business Partners commitment to create opportunities within chosen segments and ensuring overall Business Partners satisfaction.
# Has an in-depth understanding of the Business Partners' business and is able to determine areas where IBM's functional business segments can complement the Business Partners' business in addressing chosen market segments.
# He/She is expected to understand and guide the Business Partners on IBM's Business Partner Process & Controls matters and ensure that the Business Partners complies to the expected level of integrity.
# He/She often assists others in the development of their strategies and plans identifying and qualifying opportunities, making executive calls and professional skills development.

Desired Candidate:
# Minimum Bachelor Degree in any background with a solid educational attainment.
# Minimum 5 years of proven track records in IT direct/channels sales
# Applies expert knowledge of information technology and associated leading edge solutions related to the Client's business
# Experience in channel management/development
# Good communication and teaming skills.

Job description
GENERAL SUMMARY: A Websphere Software Sales Representative will be responsible for selling Websphere products to clients in ASEAN.

IBM Websphere is a leader in business-to-business (B2B) integration solutions for a wide range of industries and its capabilities include business-to-business process integration and cross-channel solution offerings.

IBM Websphere has a diverse product portfolio that encompasses managed file transfer, integration solutions, B2B Services and Selling and Fulfillment solutions.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can proactively acquire new business across a large territory and form meaningful repeat purchase relationships with the key contacts in the assigned territory. Ultimate success will come from nurturing repeat business and aggressively driving new business.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Websphere team, Websphere and coverage reps to identify and close both transactional license and Software as a Service business.

Proven knowledge of Consultative Selling and software solution selling techniques is highly desirable as is significant experience with B2B Integration Solutions & Services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
• Identifies and sells Websphere B2B products solutions and services to current and new accounts.
• Manages and cultivates effective working relationships with clients.
• Executes programs and tactics for selling products and services based on the local strategy.
• Responds to customer requests/issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Keeps management informed with regular activity reports and verbal communications.
• Displays an attitude of goodwill, conscientiousness, and effective businesslike behavior to Customers and co-workers.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
• 4+ years of sales experience of application software, electronic commerce, sales techniques, and strategy development with specific emphasis on:
o Managed File transfer technologies, solutions and protocols
o B2B Integration Solutions including business process orchestration, high volume electronic message exchange, complex routing, translation and flexible interaction with external business partners and internal systems
o B2B Services - including exchange of electronic documents and related data between trading partners.
o Selling & Fulfilment business applications for automation and management of collaborative supply chain processes including order capture, order management and transportation management
• Proven track record of successfully managing accounts and meeting/exceeding quota.
• Excellent customer relations, verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to successfully close business deals.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Ability to learn Company’s line of products and services.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Ability to negotiate and prioritize projects.
• May require travel.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Business/Communications or related field, or equivalent education and experience, including achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
