PT Agincourt Resources is a subsidiary of G-Resources. G-Resources is a Hong Kong listed gold mines and explorer. It has acquired the world-class Martabe gold-silver project in northern Sumatra, Indonesia. Already in development, Martabe is expected to commerce commissioning at the end of 2010 with first gold poured in early 2011. The plant is capable of producing at rate of 250,000 oz gold and 3M oz silver per annum.
Martabe with a resources base of 6.5M oz gold and 3M oz silver per annum. Martabe with a resources base of 6.5M oz gold and 66M oz silver will form the core starter asset around which a globally competitive, Asian-Pacific focused gold company will be built. G-Resources seeks to rapidly grow production to more than one million ounces of gold annually through exploration of the large and highly prospective Martabe property and through acquisition of other quality gold assets.
PT Agincourt Resources is now pleased to invite applications for the following role:
Hydro Geologist Mining ( MD 1285)
This position will be based in Martabe with FIFO schedule 4/2 weeks, and reports directly to the Superintendent Mine Technical Services.
The role will involve the development of mine, infrastructure and safety reason in concern with other mining engineering staff. This position caries on through the project development and operation to facilitate the effective operations of mining through reliable system of Hydrology management.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
* Tertiary qualification in Hydrogeology or Geology.
* Post tertiary studies in a related field & POP Certificate
* Computer Hydrogeology/ geotechnical skills will be preferred.
* Proven experience in the plan, monitor, supervise Geotech/Hydrology of drilling activities, equipment monitoring such as dewatering, horizontal drilling, VWP, TDR, Inclinometer, open hole, etc.
* Knowledge and Experience of groundwater/surface water modelling software
* Experience in Hydrology Mapping and Analysis
* Experience on Environmental/geotechnical aspects related with hydrology issues.
* Ability to make a mine hydrology report
* Competence in speaking, reading and writing English.
* Reasonable level of problem solving, hands on approach, able to motivate and lead a team.
* High level of computer literacy skills Ms. Word, Excel, Power Point. Knowledge in Mining software is preferable.
* High commitment to PTAR standards in environment, safety, business ethic and good corporate governance.
* Geotechnical/Hydrogeology skills – can contribute to the development and implementation of high level strategy and business planning.
* Can develop excellent relationship with peers internal and external to PTAR.
* Maintain external networks that will provide the company access to the best professional services as required
* Minimum of 7 years working experience within hydrogeology aspect of active operating mines and Experience in a metalliferous mining operation environmental will be preferred.
IT Engineer (IT-1214)
This position will be based in Martabe site with FIFO schedule 4/2 weeks, and reports directly to the IT & Systems Superintendent. This role provides back-to-back roster coverage for the existing IT Engineer, and is accountable to ensure service (data, video, voice, security and industrial applications) continuity for the Martabe site during the project development and through to operations.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
* Bachelor degree in IT, Electro or IE engineering.
* Minimum 3 - 5 years of IT and Communication experience
* A proven track record as IT Engineer.
* Demonstrate good communication and team work skills.
